Does VAT debt affect SC Clearance

Hi All,
I have some VAT and Ctax dues with HMRC for last 2 years. Now i am getting job where Agency will be doing SC Clearance for me. Will VAT and Ctax dues impact obtaining SC Clearance? or any of my personal life.
Advices will be very helpful whether to go ahead with this or not.

As long as you don't try to hide them during the application you should be fine0

You’ll be fine. I got DV clearance while in quite a bit of debt. For SC I’m pretty sure they didn’t even ask...
