As heading says I can sell the property in November without paying back any of the discount. What I am hoping for is a bit of advice, can I put it on the market now with the provision that we cannot exchange contracts until November 23rd? Have had property valued by estate agents and am ready to instruct. Really appreciate any help. Thanks

Hope it isn't 'Smelly' but you can do what ever you want when you instruct your EA, whether a buyer is willing to do this, is another matter, perhaps exchange and complete on the same day would be an option

November is 3 months away, more than likely if you put it on the market today and accepted an offer you wouldn't be exchanging contracts until November anyway.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

You may need to offer it back to the council first there's more information on this link https://www.gov.uk/right-to-buy-buying-your-council-home/selling-your-home

Thanks for thaddy I have already received back the first refusal form from council saying I can offer it on the open market as they are not in a position to buy back properties at the moment
