Judging by how slow the Next website has been tonight, they're either gearing up for the online sale by updating it or everyone's busy shopping on it before the free delivery offer is up on Friday :rolleyes:

I just went to try a sale code in quickshop just in case they were working and it says the site won;t be taking orders from 00:15 - 03:00 hrs. Is this normal? Or perhaps they're uploading all the sale prices?

Hi all

Just one thing to state in advance. I know a lot of people have talked about posting the code here once it becomes freely available, but that assumes that the code is universal and that it can be shared. I'm saying no more than this, but if you don't get a code and hope to get round it this way, don't be surprised if you don't get any joy.

Just my two pennies worth but I personally don't think any code will work until the vipsale has actually started. I'm sure the system is actually clocked to start recognising sale prices/codes from a specific date/time, which I presume is the beginning of the vip sale .... unless someone can tell me otherwise?

where did this come from.

BTW they have changed the message on the VIP website so something is going on. To all the people waiting for a code I would look at the computer sometime later in the week as no codes work until the VIP sale starts.

i just clicked on an old link and up it came.

hopefully i will get a vip invite, or the code will be posted or some clever person will work something out.

personally i hate the idea of vip invites as i think they are so unfair, i wish next would just scrap the idea.

No the codes don't work until the VIP sale starts.
