i think when they say it is random, they just mean, not everyone will get one. i would assume that they have certain search criteria, to determine which people they want to send one to, and those criteria may change at every sale, depending on who they want to target

i must admit though, the only times i have been sent an invite, is when my account is active, ie i have items on backorder or balance isnt at nil. could just be coincidence!

Can I pick your brains please.I ordered an item from Next.com.to be honest I went through checkout prepared to put my card details in at some point, only then to receive an order confirmation and an account.I received the item which I'm happy with. Here comes the question!
When do I pay and how do I pay? do I get a statement? do I have to pay off in full? Is interest charged? I've looked at the site but maybe I'm not looking in right place.Sorry for hijacking thread but need these answers before the sale starts :)

they send you a statement or you can ring them to pay it off sooner

  • The code for the Autumn/Winter sale last year was G42 at the end instead of X39/X40. I have tried the obvious G43 but it does not work!! Anyone else managed to crack it yet?
  • I think you can only start using the 'cracked' code once they've sent out the vip invites. That way the sale code will be valid on the items.
  • The very idea that next reward people randomly is farcical and smacks of someone coming up with an idea that didn't even get tested in the most basic way.

If it's random that means you could have ordered one item this year and get a slot, hardly VIP is it?

Surely by definition you give the VIP status to regular loyal customers, otherwise what's the point?
  • Since I signed up for e-mails from Next I have always had the offer, I always pay of the balance every month too.

Well exactly, how can it be VIP and random?

Still, I spend a fortune, have been a customer for years and still don't get invites!!
