Deege solar

Hi Forumites,
Help needed please. Has anyone here heard of a company called Deege solar?
I was searching for solar panels and this company's feed popped up on my facebook wall as sponsored/recommended.
The deal was "4kW solar system + battery storage for £6500". No details provided on type of panels or battery. The price looks quite competitive comparing against some of the quotes here. Hence asking for your views, before i contact them.
I have previously had TP solar install a 4kW system at my old home, but that company is no longer in business.
Thanks, CT

It really depends on how big the battery is; although I suspect the battery would not be cost effective under most circumstances. Ideally you'd get the PV array for around £4k. If you can find a smaller operator willing to work without scaffolding then you can keep costs low. For comparison my 3.42kWp array cost £4150 in 2017.1

"4kW solar system + battery storage for £6500"
As this is a money saving site, could you explain how this saves?........"£6,500" buys a lot of electricity without the risks of the costs of maintenance and repairs..._0 -
