Hi, is a 4 on 4 off shift, 11 and a quarter hours on days deserving of shift allowance?

That would be a contractual issue.0

There is no legal obligation to pay a shift premium.0

Many would see fewer, longer shifts along with a 4 day break each time to actually be a better work/life balance. I wouldn't automatically expect a shift allowance.
