Disability Confident guideline

Can one put down their disabilities and ask the employer to interview them under ' Disability Confident'?
Will that  work or can they still reject you?
This will help coming to the top of shortlisted candidates.
Thanks

You will still require to meet the minimum person criteria, that may include but not limited to, knowledge, skills & experience, as well as qualifications.

Meet the above and you may be interviewed under the scheme.

I remember trade union concerns some years ago with some employers informing compliance with the scheme when they were anything but, this was to attain accreditation.
