Kensington Mortgages

Hi,

Myself and my husband are looking into a mortgage at the end of this year beginning of next year. We are first time buyers. My husband has a less than perfect credit score with some defaults he is currently clearing. The broker we have sought advice from has said they will do a DIP with Kensington Mortgages when my husbands defaults are over 2 years old as we will fit their criteria. Hence the few months of waiting. I was just wondering what agency Kensington use to credit score? We’ve got up to date reports for both of us but know some lenders use different agencies.

  • hello, when I had an application in, it was done with Experian and Equifax. If you have nothing to hide it shouldn’t matter though, so declare everything to your broker. I see a lot of horror stories of these things ending in tears because of undeclared debts.
