Hello all,
I received my mortgage offer but I realised some mistake on property address. Number, street name, city name and postcode is correct but they put wrong county name. And when I’m checking on Royal Mail website address is including the town name as well.

I just sent an email to my broker and solicitor but I’m not sure it will cause any problem?
Please advise me.
Many thanks.

If the postcode and house number are right, isn't this just one of those situations where people disagree about the "proper" name for the neighbourhood? Anyway, I'm sure it can be sorted easily enough assuming everybody is in fact talking about the same property.0

Hi thanks for reply. I got response from my broker today and she said not to worry about. City classes as county mentioned on mortgage offer on some postal systems, it dates back from when city was part of this county and not recent one. I hope everything will be fine!amnblog said:It will resolve their end. Fairly simple process.0 -
Hi thanks for reply. Yeah you’re right everybody is talking about the same property and that’s a good thing. But still it makes me concern, it will cause a problem or not.davidmcn said:If the postcode and house number are right, isn't this just one of those situations where people disagree about the "proper" name for the neighbourhood?
