Nationwide and Furlough

Hi my sister has to sell house ( relationship breakdown) which she has a fixed rate mortgage on that is portable, however Nationwide has said that she cannot port it as she is on furlough. Therefore she still needs to sell but as she will have to repay mortgage she will have to pay £2000 early repayment fee and then re apply for mortgage after she is off furlough. In view of this anyone got an idea if she has a case to challange the early repayment fee?

Many Thanks

No one will know the answer to this question as your sister maybe the first person this has happened too.
When the government announced Mortgage payment holidays many posters on this website and board did voice their concerns.
