Right to buy mortgages

I’m looking at buying my mums house. We’ve lived there for 20 years. It’s located in ingatestone Essex. It value is probably around £350,000. Where should I be looking and what should my expectations be?

You need to be a named tenant or have lived with your mum for 12months inorder to qualify for the discount from the council. Some high street lenders do those mortgages like Halifax and Nationwide. You will need to meet their requirements in terms of deposit amount, credit profile and affordability. You can use the right to buy discount towards this. It's probably easiest speaking to a broker who has dealt with them before.0
