The forecast indicates a full new state pension if you contribute as stated.
This will be at the rate applicable in May 2024.
Thus, let's suppose that a person was given a forecast back in 2016 for £155.25 (full NSP 16/17) for a pension due in 20/21.
The pension would have increased to the current full rate of £175.20.

How many full years NI did you have at 6/4/16?
Do you have pre 88 GMP?
What is shown as the COPE on your forecast?
    Can you photograb
    an explanation that explains nothing.

  • I have 33 years NI at the moment.
    All GMP is pre 88.

    All GMP is pre 88.

    In your first post

your GMP, your pension split is detailed below:
    GMP Post 5/4/1988: £xxx.xx
    Excess pension: £xxxxx.xx
Total Abatement: £xxx.xx (deducted at state pension age)
Total: is the sum of the above.

Are you saying that  figure in bold above is zero?

When exactly were you a member of the scheme?

Are you now in receipt of this pension?

  • I was in the scheme 1976- 1985
First 5 years was as an apprentice  and was not eligible.
I paid in for 5 years. When I left I had to withdraw contributions

But you were left with the pre 88 GMP in the scheme?

Therefore your only entitlement is this pre 88 GMP revalued to age 65?

Have you been told how the pre 88 GMP is revaluing in deferment?

The letter you received from the scheme is irrelevant because you don't have any post 88 GMP or indeed any excess?

    I'm mystified!

  • As am I. Which is what drove me here.
I am still awaiting official reply to my request.
3 weeks and still not a peep from them.
