New mortgage with defaults on credit file

My husband and I have sold our house and have had an offer accepted on another property.
Due to defaults on my credit file we have had a mortgage declined. Does anyone have any experience in being accepted with defaults, or should we just give up now?
I have three defaults in total, the last being Jan 2019. All of them have been completely paid off and closed for at least 12 months.
Any help, tips and advice would be welcome as I really don't want to lose the house because of my stupidity

It is possible but you need to get your credit file in front of a broker
Some of us who post here are brokers - we are identifiable by our signature. We are not allowed to approach posters but we can be approached if people would like our help. Read the boards and private message someone who you feel can help0 -
You need a decent broker with experience of adverse credit. There are a few on here who should be able to help you.0
