Gas boiler service

Hi,
Can anyone recommend someone or a company they have used to service a gas boiler.
Having problems with people getting back to me, or arranging to come out and not appearing (!) - very frustrating!
We are in the Newtownabbey area.

I will try those options.
Just having someone come out when they have agreed would be a good start (!) - seems to be a common problem.

I have never had a boiler service. I used to arrange services for my parents as theirs was under warranty. Servicing or 'safety checks' as they call them if they can't be bothered to do everything in the manual only take a few minutes. Plumbers like to do them if they finish early and get some cash on the way to the pub. I had to leave them my number and when they finished early one day they would phone me. It's like car servicing. As long as the book is stamped nobody really cares if they actually do anything.

I was thinking of having gas installed. Out of curiosity, what book is this?

On re-reading your post, I realise that it appears to be a book which needs to be stamped due to the fact that the gas boiler was under warranty.
