NatWest - porting in Scotland timescale?

We are moving and porting our NatWest mortgage. Full application was submitted on Thursday, August 6th and our cash buyer wants to move on August 28th! Our sellers are able to meet that date so everything is relying on NatWest now.
They said it should be ok as the HR mortgage valuation was done by a panel member and was only done August 2nd but I wondered if anyone had been through an application with them recently?
