My BFs mum is looking for a PS3 40gb, cheapest deal, with or without a bundle but for under £300, has anyone found any?

Cheapest I have seen as a stand alone console is Play.com, just looking now they have changed there offer and the stand alone is now available with a free game game and is still the same price as before, £279. Click below:

Sorry they must have literally taken that offer down this afternoon, as I was looking at it this morning. I was seriously considering that one myself. They still have it without the game for the same price, still the best deal I have found. I think I may try and get the console by itself for the cheapest price then buy the games I want for the cheapest price, as there is a £5 off GAME voucher code doing the rounds too, but the PS3 bundles there are a bit pricey.

I bought a PS3 40gb yesterday in an ASDA store for £299 with Fifa 2008 and Tiger Woods 2008.

Does not seem to be available on there website, but was advertised in last weekends paper so should be in all stores nationwide.

I looked around beforehand and it was cheapest deal I could find. They did have other packages available if your not interested in the games I had.

If u go to amazon.com and not .co.uk, u can pick up a 40GB ps3 for the equivelent of £202 , it shouldnt cost that much for shipping costs.
