Good morning all
Am considering deferring my state pension for a couple of years and am aware that national insurance payments stop
once you reach state pension age.

Is that still the case if you defer taking state pension?

Yes NI contributions stop at state pension age regardless.

Not 100% correct if you are running your own limited company in that your limited company still avve to pay 13.8% employers National Insurance on your earnings. Not an issue if you are working for an other company.
