Student travel card

Hi,
is there such a thing as a joint bus and train travel card in the south east? My daughter is starting college soon and has the optionof bus or train for part of her trip. Someone told me there was a joint travelcard which could be used on both bus and train but I've  been unable to find anything like that. I think I will need to get a student-rider card for the bus and a student railcard for the train but thought I would ask you wise people just in case I missed it!

thanks

As she has the option, get her to make a decision - one or the other.

Where exactly in the SouthEast? Presumably outside London?

Is this what you're thinking about?
This is an add on to a ticket for bus travel in an area around the destination station.
Why isn't your daughter investigating this?  It's time for her to practise being a bit independent!

thanks @martindow plusbus looks quite good but sadly not available where she needs it.
And she has done research, she's figured out the tickets she needs but it was just whether there was a combined one we wanted to check about.

Have you (she!) double checked with the college? This is just the sort of information you'd expect them to have at their fingertips.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
