Additional documents timescale

Hi all
FTB so go easy on me please!!
We have applied to Natwest  - our application is a combination of employed and self-employed so is being treated under their self-employed/complex cases. My wife is on maternity and they have requested additional documents - basically a signed letter from her confirming her return date to work.
On the on-line mortgage tracker it states that the timescales for 'additional documents' for self employed cases is currently 21st July. Am I correct in thinking that this means our additional docs go into a queue and they are currently looking at docs as far back from the 21st??
Thanks is advance
