Can you freeze take-a-way pizza?

Options
Hello x
Its my birthday today and having a treat of take-a-way pizza.
Want to be healthy and penny conscious - can i freeze left-overs?
I suspect I can but wanted experiences on it?
Is the flavour and texture affected?
Do you have to leave it to defrost or do you just put it straight in the oven from the freezer?
Many thanks xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

No idea but I might find out in a few days - I froze some takeaway pizza three days ago, rather than throw it away :)

We have frozen leftovers many times and eaten them later. (No problems so far)
The only provisos is that you eat it the same day you defrost it and do not freeze it again.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
  • The risk is that the pizza dough has been pre-frozen rather than made fresh. Having said that it wouldn't stop me from freezing it, and sticking it straight in the oven from frozen, just like any other frozen pizza. Just make sure it is piping hot before you attempt to eat it.

    Have a lovely birthday!
