Lending Stream Refund

Options
I made an affordability complaint in February, they finally replied in May saying I could afford the 9 loans. I sent their reply to the FOS, the FOS upheld 4 loans and went back to them, they waited until the last day to reply, they offered £451, which I accepted and they confirmed, they sent an email on July 23rd saying payment would be made in 24-48 hours, excellent, stupidly paid off other debts knowing this would be in my account but no, now I go to their online chat and ask if it's been paid daily as if I owed them, they'd hound me, they have until 12th August, know they're gonna hold onto it until then, I want interest until then, is that possible to claim for them withholding money, even after I've settled, I should be due the money until the day they pay up surely?

Sometimes it's best to know when to stop fighting battles, you've won, you've had free money, you've got to keep the stuff which you bought with the 4 loans you've got off the hook with and not only that you've been rewarded for deliberately choosing to borrow money you knew you couldn't afford.  The money is on it's way and it's not their fault you assumed they'd pay it before the due date. If they've got until the 12th of August to pay then they're doing nothing wrong with not paying until then, no doubt you held off paying bills until you absolutely had to and this is no different. They'd only hound you if you were late with the payment and they're not late.
By all means pursue them for interest until the 12th but you won't get that as a freebie, you'll have to fund the action out of your own pocket.

Exactly, and at best they'd get statutory interest at 8% per annum.  Or the princely sum of £1.87.
