Steps Post AIP

Hi everyone, need a bit of advice.
Partner and I have recently been given an AIP and want to proceed with an application. However, I wasn't present for all of the questions for the AIP and didn't declare my unsecured loans.
I am fortunate to be able to ask for money to clear my credit card, but I am ridiculously anxious now that it will show badly.

Any advice? Should I get this debt cleared off ASAP?

That depends on the lender and agreements and you affordability.
You will get a declaration to sign and three will be all you debt listed and it should be stated if you need to clear it .
Is it a HTB ? FTB ? What’s you LTV ? What’s the max on AIP and what’s you mortgage . Is it a broker or lender direct ?
  • FTB no HTB, LTV 85% max on AIP is £240k but only need £178k, and with MB
  • I would assume they are already aware and factored it into your affordability. Much like my situation, it wont have been missed on a credit check tbh.
