Changing Mortgage Advisor after DIP

Hi all (especially the mortgage advisers in the room)
After being very patient with my current advisor I have decided enough is enough and move to someone else. Unfortunately though I have already received a Decision in Principal (with Bluestone if it matters)
I wanted to confirm whether moving at this stage could cause any detriment to my eligibility? I dont want to inadvertently score an own goal.
To be clear, right now I have no issue with moving as the guidance I have received was below par, the response times are shoddy and now I am feeling like the whole application is being delayed due to me trying to feel my way forward and guess whilst he just pushes paper. So I am happy with any moral issues to move at this point!
Should I be wary of taking this step at this stage?

What have the issues been?0

An application to Bluestone suggests your case had "complexities". Manual underwriting is a labourious task.1

Has your application not gone in yet?
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
By moral issues I mean i don't feel like hours of work has been done on my case. I doubt if he has even opened my emails with all my documents that I sent to him on my own accord.
Obviously my credit file isn't great but its not overly complicated. Regardless I'm not happy that I seem to know more about what to do next than the person who should be the expert as well as continually being told i will get something the next day and nothing coming forward.
Nope my application isn't in yet. Waiting on help to buy Authority to proceed which has been reset because i had to do it myself and made an error.1 -

Nothing wrong with changing advisors at this point. An application with a lender like Bluestone can be a painful experience and if you dont feel comfortable at this point then i suggest it will only get worse when the application is in.1

As Deleted_User says for an application like bluestone you need a broker who will be proactive and responsive as otherwise it turns a slightly painful journey (by the nature of the lender they aren't the easiest to work with) into an absolute nightmare1

Thanks both really appreciate that insight. I have tried to be patient but you have both echoed my concerns.
My biggest fear is what bluestone will do having another dip application submitted. Will they just confirm again or will they reject. I case there is only one way to find out!0 -
Bluestone wont even look at your other DIP.
As JMA says, Bluestone are not the easiest lender to work with at the best of times (and we are not in the best of times). If you do not have confidence in the broker now, time to change.
