Omni Capitol Finance

I ordered shutter blinds from City Blinds and Shutters ltd, paid £150 deposit by credit card and took out an interest free loan for £1350 from Omni Capitol Finance. City blinds went into liquidation and I am now being pursued by Omni for £112 per month via direct debit. I have cancelled the d/d but Omni say I am still responsible for payments as it was an interest free loan and section 75 does not apply. I have asked Omni for evidence that they paid City Blinds £1350 but they say due to client confidentiality this is not possible.
I am 76 years old, this is causing me a lot of stress, can anyone help.  Thank you.

Not sure if the finance itself is covered by Section 75, but the fact the deposit was paid by credit card certainly would be.

I'm not sure of the intricate details when it involves finance, but you should be covered:

Someone more knowledgeable will hopefully be along to give more accurate details, and hopefully resolve the stress!

I would suggest phoning your credit card provider and going through the Section 75 process as they will probably be more knowledgeable and supportive.
