Still going in circles

So I posted last week about the fact I was still waiting for holiday pay And P45 after leaving my employer over a month ago and my last payday having passed.
I have now received my P45 but am still awaiting holiday pay.
I have contacted the HR department, who told me to contact payroll, who told me that I’d have to contact my manager who needs to tell them how many holidays I’m due.
manager is saying she’s done that and is still waiting to hear back so here I am still waiting.
I’m just being passed from pillar to post and it’s getting rediculous. Where do I go from here?

I would send a letter to HR, cc'd to your manager and to payroll, setting out what you belie you are owed and detailing what information you have already provided ad what each department has said to you.

e.g. Manager confirmed on [date] that she had notified payroll and HR of the days due,
spoke to Payroll on [date] who stated I needed to speak to manager
spoke to manager who stated I need to speak to payroll (or whatever.

Then simply state that you should not be expected to chase this and ask that HR take control of the process and speak to any ad internal departments as necessary to ensure that the issue is resolved without further delay.

Ask them to provide a response within a specific time frame, (maybe by close of business on Monday if you send it today) confirming that it is being resolved and giving you the date on which you will receive payment.

How big a company is it? If it is relatively small then writing to the Owner or Senior manager may be helpful,
All posts are my personal opinion, not formal advice Always get proper, professional advice (particularly about anything legal!)

No - ACAS. But either seems premature, however annoying this all is.
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

Thanks for your response! it’s a very big company which is why I expected better, probably naively...

I have drafted up a letter so am going to give my manager one last call before I send it off. Failing that I will give acas a call.

Why? ACAS isnt mandatory, and this isnt an employment issue as such, it's simply a money owed issue.

How long would you leave it then? Given they’ve had over 3 months notice as it is?
