anyone lived in Frankfurt?

A mate of mine has just relocated to Frankfurt. Maybe temporary, maybe permanent.
Anyway, there's a few things he needs, but doesn't know where to go for.
Anyone know where he might get:
- a 5metre crossover-type network cable. Is there a maplin/pc world type of store popular in Frankfurt?
- Swan menthol filter tips (he can't seem to find filters of any kind, anywhere - maybe you have to ask for them). I googled them and found amazon.co.uk selling them - but not amazon.de.
- uk-european travel adapters. He has managed to find these but they seem to be about 5x the price of the uk. Any tips on Frankfurt moneysaving?

I may not need help with this anymore.
Was just browsing a few places, and suddenly had a brain wave....Ebay!
A lot of sellers ship worldwide, and a quick search finds me European travel adapters for 1.60 each (buy it now) inc postage to anywhere in Europe. Thats probably as cheap as I can buy them here.
Also Swan filters for under £4, and crossover cables for £4-£5 for the 5metres he wanted...perfect.0
