Hi all,
I would appreciate some advice on this please. On hindsight perhaps I should’ve opted to proceed transferring my mortgage via a broker however when I did this 2 years ago the process was much simpler.

My 2 year deal with Santander is ending November and I’ve found better deal with HSBC so applied to transfer to them.
My offer was approved however as I’m applying solely without my wife and her name is in the deeds the application is classed as an Indirect Application. The solicitors handling my HSBC transfer has requested solicitor details for my wife so they could be sent an Independent Legal Advice pack.

What should I do next? Should I find a local solicitor?
