House Repossessions

Options
Does anyone know anything about house repossessions.
Quite a long time ago I went bankrupt, had my house repossessed etc. Everything has moved on since then but I am asking as out of curiosity I decided to look up what it was eventually sold for and there is nothing online. It shows the last sale as when I bought it 20 years ago. I know it was sold and has been lived in for years as I still live near.
Is it different in circumstances where it's been sold by the mortgage provider as I can't see anything on the land registry either. The mortgage company took a fortune in fees when all this happened and still claimed we owed them money. It seems a bit strange to me.

When a property of mine was repossessed a trustee was involved and I recieved a statement at the completion of my affairs.
    This showed the sale price

There are no different circumstances with a reposession. Land Reg should show the new owner. What does it show?

When mine was repossessed - it showed on 'sales history' of popular internet sites a few months later showing the sale price. It was also included in my bankruptcy final report. Did you get yours?

Its called Shortfall debt. Its actually quite common when you get repossessed, the mortgage lender wants their money asap so they accept the highest offer even if its lower than the outstanding mortgage and  then they hit the repossessed homeowner with a shortfall debt because the sale price wasn't enough to clear the debt - which is obviously a huge headache for the poor soul that's been repossessed.
What did you do? Did you pay the shortfall debt?

As mentioned on this other thread, I don't think sales of repossessions are always included in the house price data figures, as they can skew the indexes.
