Loan to family member

This is completely and utterly 100% correct. My father in law signed up for £1,000s in loans when he was losing his marbles, every penny was written off by the court because he hadn't a clue what he was doing, medical testimony stated that the point his dementia was at at the time he signed the loan agreements meant he couldn't make a reliable rational informed decision. He was literally seeing adverts from sub-prime lenders on TV, phoning them up and getting a loan.jonesMUFCforever said:If the debtor is not compos mentis they can write what they like but it is not admissible in a court.
