    As a sole trader it would be, there will be certain hurdles because of the issue of contracts but that doesn't make it illegal, just a bit harder. In theory there is a limit to the number of hours you can work as someone that should be in full time education however the consequences of breaching the limit is on the employer which is you anyway so guessing the point is a bit moot.
