Change of date I get paid. Can I change the day I pay my mortgage?

Hi
I have just been told by the company I work for that from the end of this month my wages are going to be paid on the 10th of the month rather than the last working day of the month. I have been told to change the dates of my mortgage/direct debits by my employer. How easy is it to change mortgage dates from the last day of the month to the 10th?

Easy. Just contact all the companies that take direct debits from you. Most of them will let you change the date in your online account. If not then call them.0

What does your contract of employment state?
Your mortgage payment is due on the first of the month. If you pay on the 10th it will marked as late.0 -
No it won't. The mortgage provider can easily change the DD date0
