Holiday pay

Hi there, can any one help. I’ve been in a cash in hand job (no contract) for just over three years, and I’ve had to give my notice in to take on another job, am I entitled to my holiday pay?

  • I wouldn't say so. If you've been paid cash in hand, and don't have a contract, you'd most likely to be classed as self employed.

I'd say likely yes, although it depends on the arrangement really. Is there any record of how much you've actually worked though?

When you say cash in hand, did they put it through PAYE or was it all on the sly?
