Change of address during application

Hi,
We are currently applying for a mortgage with Santander. The valuation is booked and the application is due to be looked at by the underwriters this week. The sale of our current property completes tomorrow and until we have purchased our new house we will be living with my parents. Is this change of address likely to impact our mortgage application. I didn’t even think about it until a friend mentioned I should tell the broker - I have notified the online portal (using habito) this evening.

Not at all. Having a temporary home is nothing unusual. Have you placed a mail redirect on your old property?

Yes - I have re directed mail to my parents address.
