Do you actually need a Mortgage Broker in 2020?

Another example, just completed on my remortgage today , wasn't sure if Direct Debit setup as didn't show up the new lender, emailed my broker and he emailed me back same day with a transcript response from the lender that it was setup already.
No lengthy waits to get hold of lender e.t.c. No fuss."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

I have used a broker for my recent purchase, and would 100% do so again. He found the exact same deal that I had identified, but that is not where the value was for me. It was in having someone handle all the paperwork, admin, chasing of banks, liaising with the solicitor etc etc. Also great to have someone to bounce all my concerns off and to re-assure me that everything is in order and relax.0
