How many hours per day do "regulars" ( you all know the everyday names) spend on MSE Forums ?

We were spending Xmas and New Year in our holiday home ----this was extended into February /March and then lockdown arrived and we decided to "stay put" until this nightmare virus has been beaten, no matter how long it takes. We are happy here. Along with online language lessons, playing chess together, gardening, walking and the usual music/reading, I have been on these Forums for the first time : I chose MSE because of the knowledge of certain aspects of finance I have accumulated, at university and during the rest of my varied life and because I thought there would be interesting discussions with other people. As soon as I go back to "normal life" and return home I doubt that I will spend more than a glance at these Forums once every week or two, unless I notice a thread that particularly interests me (in which case, posting will take a little longer). Are any others in this situation ? And, for those who are not, I see members who have made tens of thousands of posts and I watch the number of posts they spray all across these Forums every single day and I calculate that the Forums represent some people's whole waking lives. And I wondered why such members do so. I have no views on people's choices-----but I am interested in their comments if they care to share them please.

1-2 hours per dayOne of the VERY few members I expected to vote, did so-----and my thanks go to you. I have consistently found MSE to be a better place for your presence.
I expected hardly any of the hard-core to take part-----for obvious reasons and, therefore, I have not been disappointed.0 -
None since they closed their favourite boards.0

1-2 hours per dayI come on to learn.
I also will share any of my knowledge/experience with another if it feels right.
As you've previously mentioned, enforced time away from work means periods out of the normal day can be spent on other pastimes.0 -
Some of course are logged on to the forums as they are doing other work on a PC etc .Some are also retired some are also disabled . Another bunch are just spammers .Not many come on here to discuss . Usually like the OP they have a very fixed point of view and will not be moved .0

Used to be 2-3 hours a day - then they introduced this godawful new site design and closed a bunch of boards and it's probably 2-3 hours per month now.0

1-2 hours per dayIt depends in my case.
After work this place used to be like a policeman's holiday for me - some don't like being told the truth and only like when you agree with them - this goes for the mods as well!
Now I have more spare time but as the competition boards has been ruined and I can't use it about 1-2 hours on average.0 -
If there was an option for "less than one hour", I might have voted .....0
