Glasses Repair

I managed to crush a two week old pair of prescription glasses last year. I really need to get them sorted as they cost far too much to just ignore! Has anyone here used any of the online repairers? Any recommendations?

Thanks

Just take them into your local optician .if it's a 5 minute job it will either be free or a donation into a charity box ..otherwise (if it"s a full rebuild) it will be at full cost.

It depends on what you have done to them, "crush" could mean fallen asleep and they have gone out of shape, sat on them or run over them in a car! They may need bending back, they may be "crushed" so badly that bending them back will cause them to break or they may be destroyed!! I work in optics and people can't explain on the phone what happened or the damage but get frustrated that we can't tell them if if we can repair them over the phone, without seeing the glasses - if you take them into branch (may need an appointment due to covid) they will be able to give you an idea if they can repair them or not. There is no way anyone on the internet can advise you on this matter.
Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"

Thanks, it's due to covid that I was looking for an online solution. My local optician is closed when I go down there and the next nearest town with opticians is half an hour away.
