AIP

My current mortgage advisor is on leave until 13th of August.

i Need an AIP doing so I can do an early bird reservation on a new build.

is it worth me going to a diff advisor for it and will they charge me or am I better just doing it myself?

thanks.

you can do one yourself on most lenders websites, most are soft searches too so it won't affect your credit score :)

You can use a different mortgage advisor, wait for yours to come back or do it yourself
Have you been charged by your advisor or is there any reason you are tied to them?

But obviously I don’t want to be waiting until 13th as I want to get an early bird reservation sorted.

I guess that is the choice you need to make - whether to wait or change
Is there a discount with the early bird reservation that you would lose?

No Discount just want first chance when it’s released Is there any negatives to doing your own AIP
  • Does the developer have a broker they want to refer you to?   It might be that a conversation is enough to satisfy the requirements and you can wait until your own one comes back
