Can I get a mortgage with my husband as a stay at home mum?

My husband are looking to buy at the end of this year, early next year. Due to having lived in Australia for a couple of years and my husband being self employed, we have to wait until then to apply. I am now a stay at home mum with a 10 month old and another on the way, due March 2021. I’m wondering if we can still get a joint mortgage even though I don’t work? We both have first time buyer ISA’s and my husband has quite a good income. Can anyone help me?
Thank you in advance.

    Short answer - Yes.

It will be done on your combined income and affordability. So essentially only off your husbands income and any expenses you both have, like loan repayments, car, finance etc.

And just to add. As your husband is self-employed I'd recommend finding a good broker as some lenders will loan you a lot less if somebody is self-employed.
