The form won't let me put in my email address – is anyone else having this problem?5

Same here, and no submit button; tried Chrome and Firefox2

The URL https://www.cote.co.uk/cote-at-home/newsletter-lobster-competition/ states "newsletter competition" so probably cannot enter if you are not signed up the the newsletter

Doesn't work immediately but might kick in before the comp closes.gav

I'm already signed up to the newsletter, but not had one since early July, and still can't seem to enter this comp. Might give them a message to see if there's an issue.2

It finally worked OK for me, after trying several times today. I'd tried signing up for their emails, thinking that would work. It didn't then, or a bit later on from then either.
When it worked just now, I didn't do anything different to what I'd already been doing. It merely didn't open with an error message about not finding my details, and let me click in the box to add my email address.
Blu XXXI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.3 -
Not working for me yet and the email box is greyed out so it cannot be filled in. I did sign up for the newsletter but it has made no difference.0

Ok. I couldn't submit this either at first, but I did eventually (in Chrome). I edited the page HTML, but I think (fingers crossed) it accepted my entry!
Step 1: Right click on the greyed out email box and click 'inspect element' from the drop-down menu
Step 2: Select the disabled='disabled' text and delete (see picture below). Note you must select all of this, and not just 'disabled'
Step 3: Fill in the required details
The final 'submit' box should now be spinning and not selectable
Step 4: Select the submit box in the inspect element screen. Do this by clicking on the line shown below (highlighted in blue). This line is the 6th horizontal triangle below the 'email' one you just did. You know you have selected the right line if the middle of the 'submit' box turns blue (see the left side of the screenshot)Step 5: Click on the horizontal triangle
Step 6: Delete the disabled='disabled' text (same as before)
Step 7: Press submit and hope it works (it came up with an 'entry accepted' screen for me)
This is probably an awful lot easier to do on a computer than a phone. Hope doing this isn't against the comp's t&cs...2
