My parents own their home but it is a static home it is paid for completely , it is valued at approximately £150,000. They want to release some equity to me £26,000 so I can pay off an ex-partner and get my mortgage in my name solely. Their home will be left entirely to me in the future when they are not around anymore but I need this amount now to pay off the ex, the problem they are finding is at is a static home there seems to be a problem in releasing equity. Does anyone know of any company's that specialise in static home equity release? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
