You will need to ask the housing association and see if they will allow a purchase under right to buy. Max discount is £112,300 in London - less outside London.0

Buying a property from a housing association is called 'Right to Acquire' and you can get more details on this link and the maximum discount is £16000 https://www.gov.uk/right-to-acquire-buying-housing-association-homerafhelp said:Can you get Right to Buy discount on a house lived in for 10 years+its not a council house but it is a housing association house, rent is paid to them, not private landlordHow does it work and how much disocunt can you get0 -
There are some pilot areas across the country whereby you can buy your HA home under 'Right to Buy'. Usually, it's Right to Acquire. Had brexit not got in the way, the scheme was going to be rolled out to many more areas with a view to it becoming the norm, however, that's all changed. Your landlord will tell you if they are in the pilot scheme, other wise the discount under Right to Acquire is around £11k I think.
You can check here: https://www.insidehousing.co.uk/news/news/midlands-voluntary-right-to-buy-pilot-extended-66234#:~:text=Midlands%20Voluntary%20Right%20to%20Buy%20pilot%20extended,-News29%2F04&text=The%20Ministry%20of%20Housing%2C%20Communities,on%20or%20around%2031%20March.
If you cannot log in or register, the areas are in the Midlands Region.0 -
so theres no plans to apply the right to buy schemes in the near future?
