MSE Survey about the new forum

Strange that they should ask this just as they mess up the way that many of us compers use the board.
If you comp by latest posted, you are probably using the url https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time?sort=new and have this saved somewhere as your starting point. This presents the board in order of thread start time, newest first.

Until now, when you moved back, say to page two, the url would change to https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time/p2?sort=new and you would still be in thread start date order. I have just noticed, however that now when you move to page 2, the url changes to https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time/p2?sort=new?sort=new. That is ?sort=new is being repeated. The effect of this is that the board is now back in the order of latest post rather than latest thread. When you change page again, the url drops both ?sort=new's and reverts to the MSE standard https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time which also orders the thread by latest post.

I hope this is a sign that they are about to introduce the sort board by...... function.

So we've had the one step backwards and are hoping for the two steps forward again.

If it's not solved tomorrow one of us should report it on Site Feedback.

Interestingly if you start with page 2 - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time/p2?sort=new then the links to the other pages are currently fine, but if you go back to page 1 at anytime then the error reappears.
