Is this ring real please?

Options
My partner purchased what was advertised as a bargain from Ramsdens but the hallmarks dont seem real to me, and the same ring sold from H Samuel for example the diamonds are the opposite way to this. Please can anyone tell me if this is a fake or not? Thanks so much

Do you mean is the ring (gold) real?
    Or are the diamonds real?

Apparently - according to this website - 9K is an approved hallmark for 9 carat gold.
Gold (including all variations of it like white, yellow and rose gold) must be further hallmarked as 9K, 14K, 18K and 22K standards, and so on. Read more about the difference between gold karats here.

Why don't you think the hallmarks are real?

    I don't understand this:
the same ring sold from H Samuel for example the diamonds are the opposite way to this.

Surely it's just a different design.

Nobody can tell you if it's fake/real or not by looking at 2 photos on an internet forum.

Why do you think it's fake?

It's definitely real.  I can see it in the photo.

i suspect the question is "does this look as though it cost as much as he said it did because it looks a bit cheap and bargain basement to me"

But we don't know how much it cost, what it claims to be cut wise. What the certificate says etc.
I read the post as I'm going to buy this ring from x company, do you think its legit before they hand the money over . But I have no idea to be honest.

The original post said their partner had bought the ring from Ramsdens.
I agree that the original post is not clear about what the perceived problem with the ring is.

Now don't be silly, the op didn't mention how much it was worth or show it with all the other jewellery she owns....
