Remortgage and bank statements

I'm due to remortgage soon as my current deal is coming to an end in November. I am not married and have my own flat. I have a steady job and pay all my own bills. I wanted some advice on lenders going through bank statements. I live on my own but my boyfriend gifts me money every month. This is a gift from him. He sometimes stays over at the weekend but we don't live together. Will lenders question why he is giving me money and will it be a problem when securing a new mortgage? Thanks in advance.

they may ask him to provide a declaration that this is a gift for money laundering purposes."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
