New job and 10% deposit for mortgage

Hi,
We are selling our shared ownership house and have a 10% deposit for a new house we want.
The only problem is my husband has only just started a new job. We have good credit and was previously accept for a barclays mortgage pre covid and before our house purchase fell through.
We have a telephone appointment booked in with HSBC for this weekend but after hearing how strict they are I'm not sure if they would even accept us.
Can anyone shed some light or advice? Thank you.

Why did you choose HSBC? There's no knowing what the outcome maybe. If you are unsure approach a mortgage broker for guidance.1

Does he have his first payslip and is he in a probationary period?
Has he also gone straight from one job to another and is he in the same line of work?1 -
Hi thank you for replying. No payslip yet as he only started last Monday. He has a few days off and then we started straight away at his new job. He is in a 3 month probationary period. Same line of work as a management accountant.0
