So I have a Barclaycard that I don’t use and I have an existing customer balance transfer promotion deal of 0% until November 2021 with a 2.4% transfer fee. Would it be worth doing that for the Virgin CC now? It may still be there come November but it may disappear. What you reckon? I’m still going to be actively paying down the debt but it gives me more wriggle room on time before the interest kicks in once it’s ran out. Just a thought 💭
Just a quick note on balance transfers - make sure you then close the card you have paid out! Just mentioning. Imagine a future with just one or two credit cards

Good to hear you've got your tax sorted. HMRC are the worst to try and deal with when you're short. As you know from dealing with them previously, they expect you to be able to conjure tons of money out of nowhere! Will be interesting to see how sympathetic they are to people not being able to pay everything come next January.

I've been mostly trying to account month to month for my tax bill as it takes the mental load off of all the "think I'll have enough" stuff. Anyway, sure you'll get there!

There's absolutely no point being yourself up about persistent debt. Your debt and budget is nowhere near a disaster. You can do this and you're already making great strides to do so. I once read that guilt is a pointless emotion as there's nothing you can do to change the past. Congrats on starting to look to the future!
