Moving back to the UK

in Cutting tax
Hi guys,
I lost my job last week after living abroad for 12yrs. I am single and will live at home with my parents. I will get quite a decent payout and I have some shares.
I would like to move back the UK as soon as possible but I would like to make sure I do not get taxed on my earnings this year or my payout from the company when I get it.
I am already in contact with some tax people who will look into it but does anyone have any tips?
