Hi all,  With Gold prices high at present I have some gold jewellery I never wear to sell.  Has anyone any advice/info where the best place to sell my gold is.  And any advice/info on "how-to" ideas for selling gold.  I am looking for a reputable company especially with so many scammers around these days!  I'm willing to travel within N Ireland but the closer to L'Derry the better:-)   Thanks in advance for any help offered........

Way back when gold first went up in price there was an ongoing thread in the Consumer Section.  A place in Hatton Garden got great reviews.  I sent some broken pieces and was surprised at how much I got.  I did have to send register post which then cost around £8.

It’s got a fair bit dearer again recently. Looks like it’s on a roll with all the uncertainty there is in this crazy world.
The next fear is of course a hard Brexit. Because having had one foot shot off by corona, it’s a great idea to saw the other one off with brexit. And still expect to be able to walk. Do you really need to sell that gold? Might be better to keep it.

I hope you didn’t sell that gold - well over £1500 per ounce now, and probably heading higher.
