Tax returns 2018/2019 not calculated yet

Hi, 
I was wondering if someone is in the same situation as me. My tax returns from the 2018/2019 have not yet been calculated, but the 2019/2020 is already processed. I find this very weird, I have just realized this. 
Of course my first thought was to contact HMRC but I have the standard message showing: 
"There is no need for you to contact HMRC about this. We aim to calculate your Income Tax by 5 April 2021. Your Income Tax will be updated when that happens. You will only receive a letter by post if you paid too much or too little tax. It will explain how to get your refund or pay any tax you owe.
Check your Income Tax summary for the current tax year, 6 April 2020 to 5 April 2021"
So I am a little confused. 
I think I will call them on Monday, but just wanted to know if this happens often. I only have 3 years of taxes in the UK, so I don't know if this is normal to happen.

When did you submit it?
Have you checked that  they have received it?

No I haven't submitted anything because I get paid through PAYE. It gets done automatically. At least the 2019/2020 was done automatically and I am just waiting for my refund.

So you do not have tax returns to be processed.
 Current year  PAYE id dealt with separately to previous years so 2018/19 is probably still waiting to be dealt with.
