Nuffield Gym members (peak rate) - how big a discount possible?

Hi - I'm thinking of joining my local Nuffield gym (peak time) and I am confused by the number of discounts and how you qualify requirements.  I work for a very small company which doesn't do corporate deals on anything so I can't go through my employer.

Being MSE-aware, I know that I won't need to pay the advertised rate but before talking to Nuffield, I wanted to get an idea of what's actually possible.  Can any members who are not part of a company scheme share the rates or discounts that they've been able to get (and how you got that rate)?
